He took birth to die for us so that we may be forgiven! Every religion believes in the concept of Heaven, and that one needs to love others selflessly to reach there and have an everlasting life once we die.
As the sins of humans kept on increasing, and piling up, God grew concerned. Jesus, is described as His son. In the early days, once one committed a sin, he or she would sacrifice one of their healthiest lambs to God. Understand the significance of this sacrifice, the healthiest lamb would be the one which would provide you with the most amount of money.
It is like the best product from your brand. But, you chose to sacrifice it, as a punishment for your sin.
